Master your Mental Health Workshop Series 2023

Make your mental health a priority in 2023! Commit to a weekly workshop that shows you how to have optimal mental wellbeing!

You want to feel less stressed, more connected, and get unstuck in 2023.

New Year’s resolutions are great, but somewhere around day 15 you always end up losing steam. It gets hard to think about sticking to it for another 350 days.  You want to make a New Year’s resolution that you can keep, that you can look forward to, and know you have the support to achieve. A resolution that doesn’t focus on just one thing, but that will create a holistic and healthy change in your life for 2023.

You would love to have one hour of quality self care each week that will improve your mental health, relationships, and motivation!

What if your resolution helped you to have:

  • less stress and burnout

  • less anxiety

  • better physical health

  • better relationships

  • more time to do the things you love

  • more empowerment and control over your entire life

What if you could do this in one hour a week?

You can learn how to cope with uncertainty, lean into loving relationships, and know yourself so well that your goals become clear and the obstacles fall away.

The full 12-week workshop costs about as much as a single, average 50 minute therapy session. Broken down week by week it’s $25 per hour; the price of a meal delivery or coffee with a friend.

Joining me in 2023 is as easy as 1, 2, 3…

  1.  Register: Choose which time works best for you to commit to weekly quality self-care!

    • No Availability 9 AM - You want to start your day off right! Prime your day to be a great by joining the workshop in the morning!

    • No Availability Noon - You want to fit self-care into your lunch break. It’s totally ok to bring your lunch! Eating and drinking while you learn can ease anxiety by putting your nervous system in a “rest and digest” state and signaling to your body and mind that you are safe.

    • Limited Availability 6 PM- You want to do something kind for yourself at the end of your day. A workshop in the evening that’s focused on self-care is a great way to ease into the evening and let the stressors of the day fall away.

  2. Pay for your spot clickity split. I accept payment at Venmo @hgcmtherapy, Zelle at katie@hgcmtherapy.com, or click here to pay online. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.

  3. Save the date! Block off the time on your calendar so you don’t miss a single week!

  4. Pro Tip: Get yourself a special notebook and your favorite writing utensil to take notes and participate in the self-reflection activities. You will want to be able to look back on what you learned and will be creating your personal holistic mental health and wellbeing plan for 2023!

— Katie Lorz, workshop facilitator

Each part of this workshop is thoughtfully designed to build a foundation for optimal mental wellbeing.

Part 1: Basic Mental Health, Coping Skills, and Prevention Plan During the first 4 weeks you will take time to connect with yourself and decide what matters to you. You will learn tried and true techniques that support mental wellbeing. You will walk away with a mental health “first aid kit” and a personalize plan for getting through the crises and unexpected events that often affect mental health and other areas of life.

Part 2: Healthy Relationships, Communication, and Boundaries During the second 4 weeks you will take time to reflect on your relationships. You will learn how to listen, communicate, and set boundaries that enhance your relationships, and your feelings of connectedness with others. Through experiential activities, self-reflection, and practice you will be able to cultivate the relationships you want, and navigate difficult relationships while being true to yourself.

Part 3: Optimal Mental Wellbeing and Creating the Life You Want During the final 4 weeks you will learn how to connect to your own internal wisdom. You will understand how your beliefs, values, relationships, and environment affect your mental health. You will learn how to create the life you desire, and how to accept the circumstances of your life. You will learn what it means to be resilient. You will learn how to decide when to seek therapy, when to end therapy, and how to maximize therapy. You will create a plan for optimal mental health that you can use as a guide for your life, or targeted to any goals or work if you decide therapy is part of your mental health plan.
